Are you looking for a circular walk in Droxford Hampshire? This one is a good walk in Droxford with kids, and also can easily be extended if you want to walk further. This circular walk in Droxford Hampshire gives a good selection of different things for the children to explore and keep their interest.

Droxford is a beautiful country village in Hampshire, I didn’t know much about Droxford until recently, my Hearing Dogs puppy training classes are based there, so I have got to know the area a little bit more.

There is so much countryside around us, and I am really enjoying exploring it with the kids. Last weekend we ventured off to Droxford with our friends.

I knew of a little circular walk in Droxford that would give the kids a chance to have a runaround, explore the fields, walk over bridges and just have fun together.

You start off at Droxford church, filled with a lot of history, and dates back to the 12th Century. If it interests you take a look at the ages on the graves, we found someone who had lived over 100 years and who was born very early 1800’s! Amazing for those years.

This is where you can find parking outside the village hall to start your walk as well.

Follow the path along the right-hand side and around the back of the church, and follow this down to the river. Where you will find a cute little bridge to walk over, shallow (ish!) water and fields over the other side.

Keep following the paths and arrows and you will come across some steps which lead down to the old railway line, this is perfect for riding your bike along. This connects up to Wickham Railway Line which I have featured on the blog before but starting at Wickham end.

You want to head to the left when you reach this railway line. Keep following the paths and arrows and you get out onto the road, this is where you find the river again. I love this bit, perfect paddling river. I am looking forward to bringing them back here in the summer to paddle in.

You will reach another bridge over the river, take this pathway along and away from the river.
