Holly Hill Woodland Park is a little step away into peace, this Holly Hill walk is a perfect family walk in Hampshire to take, filled with wildlife, places to climb and hide, streams, lakes with ducks and little pathways all over. Or you can take a small walk around the main lake, and it’s very beautiful.

At the weekend we popped out somewhere local for a walk together, we all needed some fresh air. So we headed to Holly Hill Woodland Park.

Holly Hill Woodland Park Walk

Holly Hill is a beautiful woodland park with nature, wildlife, and plenty of paths to follow around. We wanted to explore a little further out than the normal route around the lakes and spotted a nice circular walk-around.

However, we must have missed a turning!! As we ended up going through into the Wendlehome Nature Reserve and heading to Hamble Shore! However it was a nice walk, and one I would happily do again.

So make sure you download or look at the Holly Hill map to find out how big you want to make your walk.

I love the boardwalks that run through the woods, as we didn’t have a clue where we were going it was a mystery! The kids weren’t bothered we didn’t know where we were going, just making the most of new places to explore!

Once we got to the end of the path, we reached Hamble shore, you can take the river to the right and you end up at The Mermaids coffee shop, which serves really nice coffee.

This isn’t just for families and children, we now take the dog for a walk here too as it’s such a nice place to walk. Be aware of families, and wildlife though as the side paths are quieter to walk.
