Sunflower fields are a sight to be seen, a field full of the happiest flowers you can get! What is even better Sopley Farm Sunflowers are pickable! You can pick your own sunflowers at Sopley Farm for you to take home and enjoy.
You may have spotted a few sunflowers on my blog and social media recently! That’s because we took a trip to Sopley Farm in The New Forest to see the fields of sunflowers.
Sopley Farm is really easy to find, you only have to look out for the sunflowers! It’s well signposted and a large pull-in car park to park in.
In the car park is a play area and currently a vintage style caravan where you can buy a hot drink too. When you arrive there is a barn building where the farm shop is. Here you can purchase fruit already picked, pay for items and pick up your baskets before heading out into the fields.
Sopley Farm is a large pick-your-own farm with so many fruits and vegetables to pick yourself. The man who we spoke to said he had over 280 acres!
We headed around to the Sopley Mill sunflowers which looked so lovely. They’re as tall as the children and had such thick stems.
You can pick your own sunflowers or purchase already-cut ones from the shop. When we visited it was £2 for five, I think they are super great value.
I managed to get some photos of the children in the sunflowers, just in time before the rain came down, Sopley Farm are more than happy for you to take photos, but please do buy some produce in return and support the farm.

- A farm selling lots of different food produce, you don’t have to pick your own
- Large car park
- Would be muddy if poor weather
- No dogs in the fields
- Lovely bakery on site

I absolutely love sunflowers! I’ve never been to a ‘pick your own’ for sunflowers but there are lots of sunflower fields near my mum’s. I’ve never thought of sneaking a few photos there but it’s a great idea!
